Job title: Barista / Smoothie
Pay rate: $16-$18per hour (dependent on experience and position) PLUS tips! Tips from online orders on average generate an additional $2-5 per hour.
Direct Report to: FOH Management
Results to be achieved by this position: Provide delicious and fresh custom-made drinks to our guests in a timely and accurate manner. Many of our guests are on the go and we would like them to receive their drinks in 2 minutes or less. Baristas, Smoothie Makers, and Juicers should also have a strong knowledge of the menu, be able to cash out orders, and be able to run food and drinks.
Work requirements for the position:
- Accurately ring in orders and take payments for guests
- Deliver food and drinks to guests
- Be able to answer all frequently asked questions
- Follow recipes and accurately create a variety of beverages from our menu as well as custom made drinks by request
- Complete special daily or weekly cleaning tasks, including all bathroom cleaning
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Be able to switch tasks without notice based on needs of business and guests
- Be on your feet standing and walking for all working hours
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista, with a strong understanding of POS systems and customer service
- Proficiency in coffee preparation and serving, with knowledge of food safety protocols
- Familiarity with Aloha POS isa plus
- Strong time management skills and ability to drive sales
- Experience in food preparation, food service, and cash handling
- Basic math skills and knowledge of retail math principles
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
